Q. How are you handling COVID-19?
A. My answer here is two-parted to address two important aspects: Safety + Postponement possibilities! First off, safety: I'm personally fully vaccinated (and recently boosted) and will continue to receive future boosters if applicable. I will follow all local, federal, and CDC guidelines in regards to mask-wearing, hand-washing, and social distancing (when possible). If there is no mandate in place on mask-wearing, I will not wear one unless you request that I do! Next, postponement and date changes: Your wedding retainer is non-refundable, even if your event gets cancelled or indefinitely postponed due to COVID-19 or some other national or global emergency. That said...If you need to postpone, and I have your new date available, your deposit will transfer over to your new date (no new $$ needed)! If you need to cancel completely (no future plans whatsoever), while I have to keep your deposit, you can redeem your deposit as a 1-hour portrait session at some point down the road.
Q. Do you work alone? Or are you part of a bigger company?
A. It’s just me! 🙂 I’m typically a one-woman show, so be rest-assured that Lara Rose Photography is me, Lara Rose Cenovski, there for you on your wedding day, documenting your story. I recommend adding a second photographer (one of my associates) for weddings with 100 guests or more or for those with multiple locations. They can help to capture additional angles, more interactions, and be in other places when I can’t!
Q. I’m planning on having a super small wedding — we will only have about 12 guests. Do you have special pricing for that?
A. Yes! I have intimate wedding pricing at a discount just for you! Pricing specifically designed for shorter weddings with 30 guests or fewer. Please get in touch for that information.
Q. How many photos will we get?
A. The number of photos delivered in your gallery will depend on what kind of day or session you had -- If you had a lively and full 12-hour wedding day, with a large wedding party and bumpin' dance floor, you should expect more images than from a simple backyard affair. Full wedding days can expect anywhere from 500 - 1200 photos, intimate weddings can expect anywhere from 200 - 900 photos, and engagement sessions typically yield 100 - 175 images.
Q. What do you need from me in order to book you for our wedding?
A. Just a signed agreement and 25% deposit of your package total! I understand that photography is a big (but important) investment, so payment by installments is totally okay. Chat with me more to figure out how we can make the payments work best for you.
Q. When can I expect to see my wedding photos?
A. I always deliver a sneak-peek of about 10-15 images from your day within 48 hours of your wedding! After that, you should expect to have your full gallery within 4-8 weeks of your wedding.
Q. I’m getting married in [insert amazing destination here]. I’d love to have you be my photographer, but will it cost me a ba-jillion dollars to have you come out?!
A. Not necessarily, and actually, most of the time, I can offer you a discount on my services, depending on the location and your needs! I love to travel and will always do my best to find a way to work with you!
Q. We’re working on our wedding schedule now…How long do family formal portraits usually take?
A. Stop there! And let me help out with the scheduling of your wedding day to make sure that we have enough time for photos....And most importantly, time AWAY from doing photos, so you can actually enjoy your wedding day :) Please chat with me about your schedule so we can make sure it works well for what you’d like to get out of your photos 🙂
